Week 5: Dairy Free/Gluten Free
After 5 weeks of this, I still think it is incredibly difficult to come up with gluten and dairy free dishes. However, I am excited to be adding a juicer and a dehydrator to my kitchen tools this week and hoping that will help!
Breakfast:
- Boiled eggs, fried plantains, and strawberries
- Grain free blueberry muffins and homemade sausage
- Pineapple banana shake with fried herbed eggs
- Oatless granola cereal with nuts, fruit, and almond milk
Snacks:
- Blueberry green smoothie
- Sweet potato chips
- Veggie spread and crackers
- Quinoa pilaf with cranberries and nuts
Dinners:
- Friday’s roast chicken with mashed pumpkin and fried okra
- Sunday’s soup – chicken tortilla
- Salmon burgers with mayo, lettuce from the garden, and steamed carrots
- Meatloaf with mashed cauliflower and peas
- Pan fried chicken with wild sun dried tomato rice and broccoli
- salisbury steak with tomato gravy and green beans
After Dinner Treats
- Chocolate pudding
- Pumpkin milkshakes
- fresh fruit
